After two decades in academia, I've joined Resoniks as Machine Learning Lead, moving from research into building AI-powered acoustic testing for manufacturing quality control.

Our 2017 TASLP journal paper “Convolutional Recurrent Neural Networks for Polyphonic Sound Event Detection” IEEE Signal Processing Society's Best Paper Award 2023
As of September 2023, I have started a two-year postdoctoral research fellow position under Tampere Institute for Advanced Study (Tampere IAS). My research will focus on Acoustic Scene Understanding.
